Job description
Development and improvement of equipment (50%)
- Run diagnostic tests and perform repairs.
- Design mechanical systems to maximize plant’s performance.
- Install equipment (welding, assembling, machining).
- Perform repairs, installation and machine start-up.
- Program logic controller and variable frequency drive (VFD).
- Plan shutdown and buy equipment.
Maintenance and repair (50%)
- Review preventive maintenance program.
- Perform preventive maintenance of mechanical and electric production equipment.
- Review and improve plant installation programs.
- Look for mechanical and electrical problems (troubleshooting).
General
- Work safely and respect OHS culture (Occupational Health and Safety).
- Be a part of the 5S method and of the mechanical training sessions.

- Diploma of vocational studies (heavy equipment/diesel engines).
